second to none.Devil's Gate hunts take place on the 35,000 acre Cold Water Ranch located in Northern Utah. We offer the best in 100% fair chase hunts in the most beautiful Trophy Elk and Mule Deer country available.
About
the Hunt: Our hunts are five full days of hunting. Plan one day for arrival
and departure on top of your five hunting days. Everything will be provided except
your personal gear. During your hunt you will stay in self contained RV trailers
with hot water, showers and restrooms.
There are three meals served daily.
Mid morning we have a full ranch style breakfast, lunch usually consists of cold
sandwiches and each day is finished off with an authentic "cow camp" supper.
The
day's start early for the best possible hunt. Depending on the day we may hike,
spot and stalk, call or still hunt. Hunts can be catered to people with physical
limitations however the likelihood of a successful hunt is greatly improved if
you are physically fit. 
Elk Hunting: Devil's Gate Outfitters offers a fully guided, five day
rifle Elk hunt with meals and lodging included. This hunt is in September during
the rut and is 100% fair chase. Hunting these trophy animals during the rut is
demanding but offers the most exciting hunt and the best chance for a trophy.
The Elk herd on the ranch is managed for trophy quality animals. Bulls
scoring 300+ are common and 350+ bulls are possible.
Mule Deer Hunting: A Trophy Mule Deer hunt with Devil's Gate Outfitters
will be an experience of a lifetime. In mid to late October, these five day, 100%
fair chase rifle hunts are in peak season. By only taking a few Deer per year
off of the entire 35,000 acre ranch, we offer a high success rate on some real
Trophy Mulies. This is a Fully Guided Five Day Hunt with all meals and lodging
included. You can hunt by vehicle, spot and stalk, or still hunt.
A
Few Rules:
* While away from camp, clients will always be in the company
of a staff member.
* If alcohol is consumed, it will be done in a responsible
manner. Safety First.
* Alcohol will not be furnished by Devil's Gate Outfitters(BYOB).
* All clients and members of staff will respect the land and the wishes of
the land owner.
Included
in Hunt: food and lodging.
Not Included: Meat processing. Shipping
or taxidermy of your animal. Transportation to and from airport. State of Utah
license.
Utah Tags: There is no drawing for tags, you just need
to purchase your State of Utah license for the appropriate hunt. All you need
to do is send us your money for the tag and we will purchase it for you.
