Blue Goose offers more than 100,000 acres of land to provide a wide range of hunting options. You will hunt rice fields, soybeans, oats, wheat, corn, and milo, along with plowed grounds and laid out plots. Our diverse hunting habitat assures a quality hunt regardless of seasonal movements of geese populations. At Blue Goose you will see the largest goose concentration in North America.

We do everything in our power to give you the hunt of a lifetime each time you hunt with us. Our repeat business attests to our total commitment to serving your needs. Although we suggest a 3-5 day hunt we do offer one day and custom hunts. Book your hunt early with Blue Goose. Blue Goose Hunting Club is located in Altair, Texas, approximately 60 miles West of Houston and 10 miles South of Columbus on Hwy 71 and 90A.

Blue Goose lands are winter haven to hundreds of thousands of waterfowl. Every season gigantic flocks of Snows, Blues, Canada Whitefront and Cacklers winter in the area. Sandhill Crane and numerous species of ducks, including mallards, pintails and teals flock here to feed. Our guides have one goal.. to make your hunting experience the hunt of a lifetime.

Blue Goose at a Glance:

Seasons and Reservations	Blue Goose is open year-round. We provide full facilities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Reservations are needed, and we require a minimum of four hunters to a spread. Six to seven persons are preferred for large spreads and more shooting action.
Lodging	Lodging includes spacious accomodations and privacy to let you relax after the day's hunt. Your party will lodge together; we do not mix parties.
Restaurant	Our on-site five star restaurant offers a breakfast buffet and full service menu, including Iowa corn fed beef and a fabulous array of Gulf seafood.
Lounge	After a successful hunt, relax in our trophy room lounge to swap successful hunting stories, plan strategies for upcoming hunts or enjoy videos of previous hunts.
Guides	Our guides are the best in the business. They personally strive to make your hunt the hunt of a lifetime.
Bird Processing	We offer complete bird processing facilities, and we pick, wash, bag and freeze your birds for your trip home.
One Stop Hunting	Our well stocked store will provide you with needed licenses, game stamps, ammunition and other essential items to complete your hunt
Payment	All services may be posted to your account: food, liquor, licenses, ammo, bird processing and lodging. A deposit is required. The balance is due upon checkout.
Plan to Bring	Bring your gun, cammo clothing, waders, rain parka, 3'X4' plastic tarp for ground cover, flashlight, camera, hearing and eye protection.
Entertainment Packages	If you have a planned corporate meeting or gathering and need just the right atmosphere, we'll cater specifically to your group's needs.

The Blue Goose will again sell Federal Ammunition which includes the new Tungston. We request you purchase all your ammunition needs at the Blue Goose. We will be competitive with Walmart. Rifle and pistol ammunition is also available.

Reservations should be made as soon as possible for large groups, multi-day hunts, and special guide request.
