Big Woods Outfitters is located in the low country of South Carolina. We have managed this 2500 acre property for many years to ensure quality Deer and Turkey Hunting. We will have some fall Duck hunts if the summer goes as we hope. We strive to make our hunting packages an adventure, not just another hunt. Visiting hunters have had an excellent success rates on Deer and Turkey so far, and it only looks to be getting better every year. We look forward to Hunting with you!



Deer and Turkey Hunting: Williamsburg County is known for having a huge Deer heard, and is also known to have more Turkey per acre than any county in the state. There is a one Buck one Doe limit per day. Buck must be an eight point or larger with at least a 14 inch spread. There is a one Gobbler limit per hunt. We offer a range of Hunting from fields to woods and everything in between.


Food Plots: In addition to hunting on our property, we also farm it. We have several food plots that are planted in peanuts and some in chufa. That means we have the luxury of growing soy beans and corn for our Deer and Turkey. We also have the luxury of being able to bait deer all year. So most of our plots have feeders also.


First Come First Served Hunting: We can hunt up to 8 hunters a day. Non-hunters, such as wives or friends, are at a reasonable price per day (provided we have space available). All hunts are booked on a first contact basis. Once your hunt is booked, a half-down deposit is required at least a month after booking. This is non refundable, but we can reschedule if notified in time. We will accept money orders and cashier's checks. The remainder is paid when you arrive.

Hunting Lodge: We offer a quality lodge, great southern cooking, and an atmosphere like no other. All rooms are spacious, with double beds. The lodge is a newly renovated farm house, with heating, A/C, 2 full baths. Sleeps 8 hunters.
Lodge Rules:
- No loaded firearms are permitted in the lodge.
-Guns are loaded and unloaded in the field.
-There is no smoking in the sleeping quarters.
-Smoking in the lounge area is permitted if all guests agree.
-We do not provide any alcohol.
- All alcohol must be consumed after the evening hunt if you plan on hunting said evening.
