Hunting in New Mexico for Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Elk, Antelope

Mule Deer are hunted on private land in several locations within the state of New Mexico. We contract with only a couple of outfitters in this state because they are the best at what they do, kill mule deer. These outfitters have access to private leases in northern and northeastern New Mexico. Muzzleloader hunting is quite popular in these regions. One of these outfitters has access to a new private land program which provides hunting opprortunities for Trophy Mule Deer in late November and early December. These hunts are limited in number and are not cheap. They can produce trophy mule deer in the 175-195" class. I have had several clients recently harvest 175", 187" and 197" deer during these Rifle Rut Hunts.. Moderate hunting terrain in most of these areas. Our deer hunts range in price from $4500-$6500 per person and are always 1x1 guided.

Whitetail Deer are hunted on private land in a very limited area. One of our outfitters in the northeast part of the state has the ability to take bucks in the 150" class in mid December. 2009 will be the first year for this whitetail hunt, so take advantage of this great opportunity. 1x1 guided with brand new lodge!

Elk are hunted on private land in several of the best locations in central, north, and northeastern New Mexico. Adventures West Recreation books high success and trophy class hunts for Rocky Mountain Elk in these areas. Our standard elk hunts produce about 80-85% success yearly on 260-290" bulls. These rifle hunts begin in early October and end in late December. Some of our outfitters offer late season Migration specials yearly. These hunts can produce a very fun hunt with lots of game seen. If you are looking for Trophy Class Fair Chase Bulls bulls we have them here in New Mexico! My hunters are averaging 322" with 100% success with one of our best outfitters. Adventures West Recreation has some of the most affordable elk hunts available in this great state.
The standard elk hunt range in price from $4850-$6000, with Trophy Hunts starting at $7500 per hunter.

Antelope are hunted on private land in several locations in eastern New Mexico. Adventures West Recreation has some of the most affordable antelope hunts in the state for quality animals. We have motel hunts and first class hunts run out of a brand new lodge on over 120,000 acres of private land. Rifle antelope hunts are open in August and September.
