At High Country Outfitters, our goal is to provide you with an experience that will remain with you for years. Many of our customers return, bringing family and friends with complete satisfaction. Located in the pristine area of Northern California, we have thousands of acres of access to public and private hunting land. Many lakes, streams, and rivers, mountains, valleys, and forests support our diversity in hunting wild game. We offer guided hunts for a variety of game: Bear, Deer, Wild Pig, Antelope, Elk, Wild Turkey, Dove, Duck, Geese, Bobcat, Raccoon, Grey Fox.


California Bear Hunting: available using either tree stand/spot and stalk methods or dogs during season. The season opens during the general season for deer (September) and extends until the last Sunday in December or until the state quota of 1,700 bears has been harvested.

Bear Hunts / Dog Hunts: $2000.00 per hunter, $2500.00 for trophy bear, $1400.00 for junior hunters. Success rates are 99.9%.

Tree Stand/Spot & Stalk / Bear Hunts: $2500 per hunter, $2800 for trophy bear, $1400 for junior hunters. Archery, rifle, pistol, and muzzleloader offered.
All bear hunts include cabin accommodations.



Wild Pig Hunts: spot & stalk. Success rates run at 99%. Wild Pig hunts are $650.00 per hunter.An additional pig may be taken on same booking trip for $500.00. Wild pig hunts are 1.5 days long. This consist of 1 evening hunt and 2 morning hunts. Hunting is available on several high producing ranches. The terrain consist of about 6,000 acres of brushy draws with oak studded ridges, another 10,000 acres of rolling hills with oaks. Hunting is conducted usually from 4x4 vehicle or Rhino’s while spotting and stalking from higher points. Archery, rifle, pistol, and muzzleloader offered.




Deer Hunts: Deer hunts are spot & stalk. Success rate 98%. Prices varu $2500-$4000, depending on length, location, and management or trophy hunt. Archery, rifle, pistol or muzzleloader. Guaranteed tags for Oregon & California.

Antelope Hunts: (Oregon) $1800 per hunter guaranteed tags. (California) Antelope hunts are available with successful draw results from the Department of Fish & Game. Prices vary depending on length and location.

Elk Hunts: available with successful draw results from the Department of Fish & Game. Prices vary depending on length and location.

Bobcat Hunts: 2 day hunts w/ dogs. Success rates 99.9%. Price $800.00
Exotics: Barbados Rams, hunts are $1000.00 per hunter for trophy class rams.
Turkey Hunts: 99% success rate. $500.00 per hunter. Archery and shotgun.
Dove Hunts: $250.00 per day, per hunter, on 4,000 acres.
Duck Hunts: $300.00 per hunter, per day.
Goose Hunts: $300.00 per hunter, per day.
Duck & Goose Combo Hunts: $450.00 per hunter, per day.

Additional Information

Hunts may be booked with a 50% deposit to reserve dates available.

All parties must sign a waiver and release of liability agreement.

All hunters must have valid California Hunting License, tags, and or stamps for species being hunted.

All hunts include transportation once you arrive in Anderson. Also included are guiding service, field dressing of animals, trophy care, the packing out of your animal, and transportation to local game processor, if requested.

Taxidermist information is available upon request and is the responsibility of the client.
