Nansel Ranch - Western Adventures
When we decided
to share our ranch with guests, we wanted to give them a firsthand experience
of a real working cattle ranch. What better way to do that than with a horseback
ride!

Bob and Tom
are involved full time in management of the ranch.

We provide a wide variety of Montana ranch experiences, from a 2- to 3-hour ride through the scenic pine breaks to an overnight cattle drive that may conclude with a branding, weaning calves, or just a nice evening in the hot tub!
All horseback rides, from the shortest half-day ride to the multiple day pack trip/cattle drive are customized to fit the guests’ needs and desires. Our horses are well broke and gentle, and we can give you most anything you would want to see in a Montana Western Adventure.
CATTLE DRIVES (minimum 4 riders)
Half Day....$85. Full Day....$145.Includes horses, tack, guide, continental
breakfast and two meals. Overnight...$245. Same as above, with three meals
per day and tent.
J.M. Nansel Ranch Co. is a family operation with Montana roots going back
to homestead times. Joe M. and Joanne Nansel founded the company. Five
sons and a daughter have an interest in the ranch.
