Illinois Bird Hunting: native Bobwhite quail, along with pheasants on a wing shooting hunt at Heartland Lodge. Hunt behind some of the best German Shorthair Pointers and English Pointers in the country! An abundance of Native Prairie Grasses mixed with fields of Milo present habitat ideal for upland bird hunting. Friendly guides will work the dogs, carry the birds, and dress the game at the end of each day. This Orvis endorsed wing shooting operation is one of the finest in the country and the only Illinois hunting lodge endorsed by Orvis.

Illinois Waterfowl Hunting: cannot be compared to any other area in the United States. It is unsurpassed in quality. This 1,000 acre paradise is located along the mighty Mississippi River, with four miles of river frontage and two islands in the river to provide a unique atmosphere that every dedicated waterfowl hunter should experience. It's your choice. Hunt diver ducks such as Canvas Backs along the great Mississippi River; or Mallards, Wood Ducks, and Teal in the flooded bean, corn and millet fields with over 25 blinds and pits to occupy. Choose hunting large Canadian Geese from one of our pits, or select a pit where you can shoot geese on one side and ducks on another!

Turkey Hunting: Heartland Lodge was designed with you, the hunter, in mind. Enjoy turkey hunting in Illinois. An abundance of CRP fields mixed with fields of milo and hardwoods present habitat ideal for turkey hunting. Turkey hunting at Heartland is a favorite among hunters visiting the lodge. This area has a long tradition of turkey hunting. You will enjoy this turkey hunting lodge with, three hearty home cooked meals every day. Sporting Clays: Heartland's twelve-station sporting clays course is one of the finest in the Mid-West. This Illinois sporting clays course is located on 15 acres that surround the beautiful Heartland Lodge.
