Rock Bridge Lodge is located in the Heart of Dixie in the center of some of the best Whitetail deer country in the south. Our 5,000 acres in Alabama are loaded with deer and turkey. We have designated areas for trophy hunts only, and other less restrictive tracts of land where you can bag a smaller buck or doe.

Guided hunts on our deer farm and preserve will provide you with the best hunting experience from the time you arrive to the time you arrive back home. We do the work for you to ensure a great experience.

Whitetail Deer Bow Hunting Season: October 15th begins the Alabama archery seasons. This time of the year offers an abundance of food sources, the most popular of which change weekly. You may hunt over white oak acorns, green fields, persimmon trees, corn food plots on trails to and from bedding areas, and rest assured you will get the opportunity to launch an arrow. Rockbridge Lodge is equipped to provide you with the most professional and specialized service and personnel to make your bowhunt successful and enjoyable. All hunts are booked on a first come first serve basis. We accept a limited number of hunters for each hunt to assure low hunting pressure and to provide individualized attention.

Gun Hunting Season: Nov. 20-Jan. 31. Rockbridge is not a game farm with fences; it is native game on natural habitat with fair chase hunting. Hunts include meals, lodging, transportation to and from stand and professional guide assistance. 3-day hunts begin at 1:00 on Thursday and end at 11 a.m. on Sunday. 2-day hunts may be arranged. Coyote, Bobcat and Fox may be taken at no charge Cleaning of animal available. Airport pickup and return from Birmingham or Montgomery is available.. Necessary licenses are available at the Lodge. There is a fine for shooting illegal deer or for shooting button buck. The remainder due upon arrival. Non-hunters are welcome. Enclosure hunts available for Boone & Crockett class trophies. Spring Turkey Hunting Season: March 20-April 25 Spring gobbler hunts begin on March 20 and last until April 25. Rockbridge has the very best to offer in Eastern Wild Turkey hunting. Our lodge takes a limited number of turkey hunters so each will have access to hunt hundreds of acres all to themselves. In most cases we will have an old Tom located for you when you arrive. In the morning you will have the opportunity to work a gobbler on your own or have an expert guide go with you to do the calling.

Lodging: The staff takes great pride in caring for our hunting guests in the Old Southern tradition. Airport and hotel pickup services are available for a small fee. All game cleaning, meat preparation and storage facilities are provided. If you are looking for a great hunt with a bunch of "Good ol' Boys" from down South, give us a try at Rockbridge. Our hunters stay in a big farm house with all the modern conveniences including central heating and air conditioning, large fireplace, big screen T.V. with satellite and single bed arrangements. Maid services will be provided with linens, soap, toiletries and paper goods supplied. Our services include: two hunts per day, professional guides, transportation to and from hunting stands, lodging and meals each day.
