Welcome to Buffalo County Whitetails.
We’re new to the guiding and outfitting scene, but we’re not new to trophy whitetail hunting. Steve (Sigy) Segerstrom, your host and guide, has been successfully pursuing big bucks for more than thirty years. If you’re interested in Bow Hunting, Gun Hunting or Muzzleloader Hunting for Big Bucks in the top Trophy Deer producing county in the country, you might want to consider booking a hunt with us!





Situated in the northern part of famed Buffalo County, our hunt property is 500+ acres of trophy managed Deer habitat. Most of the land consists of heavily wooded hillsides and ridges with the balance being open cropland. Our property possesses all the key ingredients to promote and hold Mature Bucks: healthy Doe populations; thick bedding areas; abundant, nutritious food and very low hunting pressure. Our stands are strategically placed in feeding areas, staging areas and funnels. We have all the makings of a great, enjoyable hunt.




Semi Guided Whitetail Deer Bow Hunts: We offer a very limited number of fairchase semi-guided bowhunts for free roaming, whitetail deer during the Wisconsin early and late bow seasons. The hunts take place on low-pressure, quality managed private property and includes comfortable lodging, all meals and tree stands (blinds if desired). Only trophy class animals will be taken, a mature buck at least 2 years old.

Tree Stands: Provided on the property. Hunters are required to provide their own fall restraint systems (safety harnesses). Safety harnesses must be worn at all times while in tree stands.

The Lodging: Our accommodations consist of a comfortable cabin reminiscent of a good old fashioned deer camp cabin. It is equipped with a heater, stove and lights. The cabin offers a great setting for relaxing after the hunt and enjoying the camaraderie of the other hunters.

Food: Our meal package includes: dinner served nightly, food provided for “prepare your own” breakfast and sack lunch.

Fishing & Turkey Hunts: A stocked pond is available for your enjoyment. Spring turkey hunts are also offered. Call or email for more information!
