Hunting for Wild Boar, Whitetail Deer and Exotics in Ohio

White Oak is the largest hunting preserve in Ohio, we are also the first to be recognized and licensed by the Ohio Division of Wildlife, we are current on all applicable licenses issued by the Division of Wildlife. Our large hunting area provides a good challenge even to those in good physical condition. A hunt with us is truly a hunt to remember. We own over 1,000 acres of beautiful, rough Ohio Hill country

Russian Boar: these two words conjure up images of the ultimate Big Game Anima. This has to be one of the Smartest, toughest, cantankerous and respected trophies most hunters will ever pursue. White Oak offers exciting trophy hunts for these magnificent animals. Fall hunts are tougher because of the heavy vegetation from summer rains. Spring hunts give us the opportunity for longer shots usually 40 - 75 yards.

Special note: Russians earned their Bad-Boy reputation. We strongly recommend you are very proficient with your weapon of choice, and heed your guides good advice during your hunt. A wounded boar is a very dangerous animal and, when pursued, can turn on you at any time. So, be patient and make that first shot count!

Hunting Methods: We use the standard hunting methods of still hunting, stand hunting, drives and spot & stalk. We also have available a fleet of rugged 4x4 hunting vehicles, with so much ground to cover and very educated animals, these have become a necessity. We will choose the best suited hunting methods during the hunt based on current weather, recent hunting pressure, feeding or breeding activity, etc.

Lodging: White Oak boasts a large modern lodge for our clients to enjoy. We have a large dining area where we have a big buffet style breakfast. At noon Sherri will have a big lunch and at dinner, once again you are treated to a large delicious meal. Supper is completed with a few home made desserts, hot coffee is again available. Also, available are mixed drinks or beer.

Corporate Hunts: White Oak is very experienced at Corporate Entertaining. We can provide a relaxing atmosphere to get away from the daily pressures and provide the attentive personnel and support equipment to make the hunts more enjoyable. We encourage you to participate with your clients in these trophy hunts. We take great pleasure in posing the trophies in special spots that have spectacular scenery in the background. We provide pickup service at the Cambridge Airport.

Hunting Season: Fall: September - October - November, Spring: February - March - April.
Our primary hunting days are Fridays and Saturdays.
