Come fish Florida’s Gulf Coast with noted guide, outdoor writer and TV host, Capt. Gene Zamba. The fishing on the West coast of Florida is often called “A Fisherman’s Paradise”. World-Class Tarpon fishing. Flats fishing for Snook, Redfish, Sea Trout, Permit, Shark and much more make this hot spot ideal for the traveling angler. Light tackle and Fly-fishing these flats is a challenging and rewarding experience

The lodge is located on a secluded canal on Lake Tarpon a short drive from the cities of Clearwater, Tampa and St. Petersburg. Lake Tarpon is rated by the state of Florida Fish and Game Commission as the number one lake for Trophy Bass. The state record is held by Lake Tarpon with a 19.0 pound Bass.

Our guests enjoy the abundant wild life, secluded surroundings and access to the lodge’s kayaks to explore the 8-mile long lake. The accommodations are a “Bed & Breakfast” style set up with a warm and cozy feeling.

If you are after the BIG Florida Bass, we can venture onto Lake Tarpon, a 2500-acre lake rated one of the top 10 trophy lakes in Florida. Our trips have produced bass over 10 lbs. The best time for BIG Bass - Jan - end of March.
