Hunting in B.C. Canada for Moose, Elk, Grizzly,
Black Bear, Wolf, Lynx, Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer

Pink Mountain Outfitters offers hunts for Moose, Elk, Grizzly, Black Bear, Wolf, Lynx, Whitetail Deer and Muledeer. The hunting territory is 8000 square kilometres (4000 square miles) in size and stretches along the north-eastern end of the Rocky Mountains. The area has an elevation of approximately 1000 meters (3280') and is completely covered with forests and swamps.

Black Bear Hunting:
In spring the black bear is still in its splendid winter coat. In order to get their digestion going after hibernation, the bears are in constant search of fresh greens. Thanks to the high population of black bear, we guarantee each hunter will see bears within shooting distance during his seven days hunting trip.

Grizzly Bear Hunting:
At Pink Mountain Outfitters, the grizzly bear hunt takes place only in autumn, lasting 12 full days. You may wish to consider booking a combination hunt with moose or elk. During the fall months the blueberries are the preferred nourishment of the grizzly, and those berry patches are great for hunting.

Moose Hunting:
The moose hunt is undoubtedly one of the strengths of Pink Mountain Outfitters. Thanks to the geographical position of our territory - only 200 km (125 miles) from the Yukon border - very good trophy class moose occur here. Bulls with antlers up to 150+ cm (60 inches plus) are common. By North American standards, we do have a high rate of success.

Elk Hunting:
In contrast to the moose which are found through out our territory, the elk occurs in the north-western part. Elk hunting mainly takes place on water, usually the river, and is accessible only with the jetboat. If you wish to hunt only for Elk then we strongly recommend a date during the rutting season.

Winter Hunts - Wolf Hunting:
Depending on the full moon, the Winter Hunt takes place in January or February. During this time the hunt for wolf, lynx, coyote and wolverine will be a real "Cool" adventure.Hunters must be well prepared for temperatures as low as -50ºC (-58º F). During the snowmobile ride to the stands you will see some breathtaking scenery.
