Our Outfitting Territory is 3 hours NW of Prince George. Part of the Omineca District, it holds some of the highest Moose and Bear Populations. A large number of our Bears qualify for SCI or BC Record Book. Many with 6 & 7 ft hide measurements.

For 25 years Bert has been Guiding Hunts. He is also a Fly Fishing Guide, Filmmaker, Photographer, and Archer.

The Area: Our hunting and fishing territory is about 1000 sq miles situated in North Central British Columbia, Canada. We are bordered on the north by 40 mile long Stuart Lake and on the south by the Sutherland River. The Lodge is an hour drive from Fort St. James, BC.

Spot & Stalk Spring Black Bear Hunt: May - Jun.
7 day Trophy Hunt. 1 on 1 hunt or 2 on 1 hunt. 2 Bear per Hunter, Trophy Fee for 2nd Bear. Non Hunting Companion welcome for addtional fee. Length of your trip is 7 Days. Arrive at the Lodge Day 1, get settled into your cabin and meet your Guide. You can use our 3 D target Course. Your Hunt starts the following day. Hunt for 5 full days. Depart Day 7.

Early Fall Bear Hunts Aug 15 - Sep 10 Ask for details about these Terrific Hunts: See as many or more Black Bear as in Spring, great fishing and Summer weather.

Bull Moose Rut, Fall Hunt: - 2 on 1 or 1 on 1. Arrive day one, hunt 8 full days, depart day 10. We hunt historic rutting places that the Bulls visit year after year . These are mostly Cow Moose territory that are safe, on Lake shores where they have been rearing their calves all summer. We hunt our moose near beaver ponds, small lakes and rutting spots where we have canoes and small boats hidden away. We have cut trails, built tree stands and ground seats in these secret places. Because of our 25 years experience and these preparations we are able to Guide most of our Hunters to a moose trophy. We use a variety of successful calling techniques when hunt for bulls.

Included in Hunt: All Guiding, Lodging (Private Cabins), 1st Class Meals, Field Dressing.

Not Included: Hunting License, Tags, Royalty per Bear, Preservation Fund, Airport Transfer, Tax.

Lodging: Our main Camp is located on a 350 yard long Island on Grizzly Mountain Lake. Altitude is 3000 ft below of a 6000 ft mountain range. The lake is teaming with wild Rainbow Trout. Dining is in the main lodge, where we serve outstanding meals. Enjoy coffee on the sundeck with a view of the lake and Grizzly Mountain. 4 private guest cabins, with comfortable beds, shower and woodstove. The Island has an Archery Target set up and a 3D course on the Island Trail.

Travel: Drive - We are 3 hours NW of Prince George. When you book we'll give directions to the Lodge. Fly - Arrive in Prince George (one hour flight from Vancouver) and we will arrange for a transfer from Prince George to the Lodge.
