Trophy Hunters Alberta is the most prominent and successful outfitter in Alberta, Canada. We focus our hunting efforts on what we do best, hunting black bear, elk, moose, mule deer and whitetail deer. We also provide complimentary wolf and coyote hunting on all of our big game hunts.

Hunters should see a variety of big game oppotunities. We can not guarantee a kill, but we can guarantee the hunting experience of a lifetime with the potential for world-class results. We will help you spot the game, you decide whether it meets your criteria, and if so, the hunt will be on. We utilize many hunting techniques, be it calling, spot and stalk, working the bush, ground blind hunting behind camo or in a simulated hay bale, tree stand hunting or some combination of these proven techniques.

Elk Hunting: We offer both archery and rifle elk hunts. Archery hunts start in September when the bulls are usually in rut, and run through to the end of October before the rifle season opens. Rifle hunts take place both during the September and early October rut, as well as during the last week of October and throughout November. Our rifle elk hunts are premier hunts and are always in high demand.

Moose Hunting: Hunt moose from mid September to the end of November. Mid September to mid-October is referred to as the rut or calling season. Hunts during this period offer very reliable results as the bulls are susceptible to calls and come to the hunters. We also operate post-rut hunts during the first two weeks of November and have had excellent opportunities each year.

Whitetail Deer Hunting: We offer both rifle and archery whitetail hunts with highly experienced guides. In fact, the #1, #2 and #4 ranked indoor/outdoor compound and #1 recurve shooters in Alberta all work for us. With such quality guides, it is easy to understand how we can provide a world class whitetail hunt. We can provide a whitetail hunt in the mountains, the foothills, the prairies and everything in between. We hunt bush, woodlots, open country, river bottoms, coulees, draws, grain fields, etc. Stand hunt or spot and stalk with bow or rifle for 130+class Whitetail!

Mule Deer Hunting: We offer both archery and rifle hunting experiences in some of the finest mule deer territories in the province. Alberta has the enviable reputation of being the destination of choice for hunters in search of a world class quality mule deer hunt. Many of our southern and southwestern Alberta mule deer hunters routinely report seeing a large quantity of quality mule deer each day. Hunters should expect to see 140+ class mule deer and hopefully some scoring 160 class or better. In both 2003 and 2004, our primary rifle mule deer hunters averaged 160 class!

Black Bear Hunting: Our spring black bear hunts are offered in both 1 and/or 2 bear areas, baited or non-baited, tree stand or spot and stalk with bow or rifle. . Many B&C and P&Y bears have come out of Alberta, boasting 20"+ skulls. The average male Black Bear weighs 250-450 lbs. and measures 5-5 ½ ft. nose to tail, with above average specimens reaching up to 600 lbs. in weight and as large as 6-8 ft. in length.
